Albums to Remember

Scrap-for-hire - Creating custom photobooks and custom albums for your memories!

I have decided to hire you, now what?

Are you wondering what the process is once you decide to order an album?  Please read on!

  • First, email me to let me know you are interested in having an album created.  I will email you back with several questions to get a better idea of what you are looking for and what your expectations are.  If we decide to go ahead with the project, a date will be set and a contract will be created for both of us to sign.
  • You will be responsible to send your photos to me.  You can do this via mail (photos on cd) or via email.  Please be sure to save and send your photos at the highest quality.  for example, a photo saved at 600 x 400 pixels will look great on your computer but it will not look good in print.  I save my photos at 2592 x 1944 and they work well.  This allows for croping and resizing.
  • A 25% non-refundable payment is required before work is started.   You can pay via paypal (visa & mastercard accepted) or by cheque.  Please note that the project will not be started until payment has cleared.
  • If you have journaling you would like to include with your photos please write it out and send it to me.  If you are unsure what to say please let me know and I will help you by sending you a questionaire to help gather the information.
  • Once your album in completed (time depends on size of project which will be agreed on in our initial meeting) you will be sent a draft.  You will be responsible to proofread journaling, names and dates.  Please notify me of any changes that are required.  I will make necessary changes and email another draft to you.  Once approved, I will send the album to a quality archival printer to create your book.
  • The remaining 75% of payment is required before your album is sent to the photobook printer.

It is that easy!  If you have any questions or concerns please let me know (use the contact form here).

I would be honoured to create a scrap-for-hire album for you.
